Broccoli Prevent Cancer

Enter the broccoli and cauliflower in the list of mandatory purchases of vegetables. The main phytochemical in broccoli, sulforaphane, can prevent cancer and selectively kill cancer cells.

This substance is an inhibitor (barrier) HDAC enzymes. HDACs are a family of enzymes that affect the way into DNA, and plays a role whether a particular gene will be issued or not, such as tumor suppressor genes. Some mechanism that helps prevent the growth of normal cells tidka silenced. HDAC inhibitors help turn on genes that are silent and improve cellular function normally. Research on mice showed that prostate tumor growth slowed down the foods that contain sulforaphane. The present study demonstrates sulforaphane selectively kill cells enlarged prostate (hyperplasia) and prostate cancer cells, but does not interfere with normal cells. High consumption of broccoli and cauliflower are associated with lower risk of aggressive prostate cancer.
